A little recap of our experience in Nova Gradiska
The Training Course “Bridge of Peace” has officially started in Nova Gradiška, Croatia 🇭🇷, bringing together youth workers, educators, and active members of youth organisations from different countries to explore innovative approaches to peace education and non-formal learning.
Over the course of these three intensive days, participants will dive deeper into the concept of peace education, reflecting on how to address conflict, foster empathy, and strengthen critical thinking among young people. Through interactive methods, group discussions, and collaborative workshops, we are exploring practical tools that can later be adapted and implemented in our local communities.
One of the key components of the training is the creation of educational escape room scripts. This methodology combines gamification, storytelling, and experiential learning to engage young people in meaningful reflection. The scripts developed during this course will be further refined and implemented in the next phases of the project, becoming practical educational resources that promote dialogue, intercultural understanding, and peaceful conflict resolution.
This is just the beginning of a few days full of ideas, cooperation, and European partnership building. We are excited to see how the outcomes of this training will create a real and lasting impact in our organisations and in the communities we work with.
